Miss Ventura stepped out in this bright pink number at 1Oak for a party she was hosting. The dress, from up and coming Queens designer LaQuan Smith's Spring 2011, was interesting and head turning to say the least.
However, I am on the fence about the look. It's bold and fearless, but looks like it came from the racks of American Apparel. The sandals look a little prom-ish, not the best choice of shoes. She does rock the color well though, and she's petite so she pulls it off well. Her new dark 'do and pretty makeup look great, too.
I've seen better on Cassie, but she is the LaQuan Smith's muse, so it was appropriate to wear the designs.
LaQuan Smith has some other pretty fabulous designs, worn by Hollywood's "it" girls.
