LoVe ThE SKin You'RE In!!

Summer is slowly coming to an end...and Fall is rapidly approaching. Time to pull out the lotions and creams to stay moisturized! Nobody wants to see white elbows and crusty lips, not sexy! So, lets explore some good skin care products and methods to achieving healthy, beautiful skin for use in all the seasons.

Always Shiny?
L'Occitane has a new organic product for Oily and Combination skin called Red Rice, grown in the Carmague region of France, made from whole grain rice known for its health and diet benefits. Red Rice skincare has an array of products from powders to matte face fluids. Check it out!

For those who have DRY skin:
Try L'Occitane Shea Butter (I have the hand cream)
My Favorite Products: (I live by these, and find them at the drug store!)
  • Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Cleansing Pads
  • Nuetrogena Alcohol-Free Toner: (This is great stuff!)
  • Ponds Dry Skin Cream
  • Mary Kay Time Wise System

Of course there are thousands of products to use, these are just a few of my daily ones. Some people say its best to stay within the same brand, but do what's best for you.
****Just remember to cleanse, tone, and moisturize! (In that order)***

Firstly, you must know toning and moisturizing is a MUST to healthy, glowing skin.

Secondly, DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT USE ALCOHOL or ASTRINGENT based products because they have drying agents and ingredients that dry out the skin, which causes the skin to lose its natural oils.

Thirdly, always use lotions with SPF factors (even in the fall and winter) because they block the harmful UVA and UVB sun rays that can cause skin cancers.

Dr. Melanye Maclin M.D. is a popular dermatologist who has been credited for her research on skincare and inspiring beauty tips on how to get gorgeous skin and hair. She has been featured in hair magazines, radio stations, and has her own line of products on the market.

Some useful websites for great skin care info and products:
