Video: Rock the Look on NBC Washington

Hey world! I wanted to share with you all my first video segment on NBC Washington, my current place of employment.

Last week I covered the second annual Rock the Look Fashion and Beauty Show hosted by the W Salon at the Celebrate Fairfax Festival 2012 in Fairfax, Va. It was a GREAT event!! The sites, the people, the fashions...not to mention the weather was amazing! Souny West, owner of The W Salon was the mastermind behind the show, which featured fashions by 3 Sisters Boutique in Alexandria, VA and styling by Stara Pezeschkian of Stara Glam. These three beautiful women talk about keys to running successful businesses, while staying fabulous! I definitely take pointers from them, as they are all friends holding down their own entrepreneurial endeavours.

New Video: Elle Varner ft. J. Cole

22 year old singer Elle Varner teamed up with rapper J. Cole and released her debut single "Only Wanna Give It To You". The colorful video shows all things girly, from shoes to clothes and boys :) Check out her video and also my boo J. Cole's rap skills! 

Her debut album Perfectly Imperfect is set to be released later this year and she will be making a stop by Howard University's Homecoming for her college tour!

I remember it was my freshman year and I was in my dorm trying to do the dances! LOL I love me some Destiny's Child! Bey and those evisu jeans and the timbz!!! Gosh, such a I get such nostalgic feeling listening and watching this video.. anywho, hope you enjoyed the throwback!

I just love Beyonce, everyone that knows me personally can agree LOL. I saw this video over the weekend and was just in awe of how beautiful and young she was when she made this video. Beyonce premiered her second video for the single "Best Thing I Never Had" from her album "4" (which is currently #1 in the World) yesterday. Gosh she looks so beautiful in this video. The concept is similar to what she sings about, girl meets boy and the boy is a jerk, she dumps him and finds her prince charming! LOL And it's cool to see her in a wedding dress since we never actually saw what she wore at her own wedding..Anywho, I know our playlist is on and popping but you gotta mute it to watch the video :)
