Halloween Costume Ideas

Halloween is around the corner and I’m sure all of you (myself included) have been trying to think of what you’re going to wear all month. One dilemma that I always find myself in for Halloween, is that if I buy a costume, I will only wear it once. Then I have no use for it once the holiday is over.  So, with the help of American Apparel, I have some costume ideas.  Also, once you’re done dressing up you have separates that can be worn any time of year.

Gents

Sports, TV shows, and pop culture are normally your biggest inspirations for Halloween costumes. Luckily you guys can probably find most of what you need right in your own closet. So here are a few costume ideas

If your costume is coming from a particular decade. Going to a thrift store can be and easy and inexpensive way to find the things that you need. Vintage stores will also have those authentic things that you are looking for to really complete your costume. Check out Miranda’s post on Best Thrift & Consignment Shops in the DMV for places to look.

"Rockin' Gold Teeth and Fangs"

Hey readers! So Miranda, myself, and my friends all went out to a costume party last night and had a great time! Here are some pictures!

The gang! Monica was the cutest bumble bee and Miranda was "Queen Cleopatra".
This picture is hilarious!

Taylor was a nerd and Kalif was Tiger Woods. Lol!

My boyfriend and I were a plug and socket. We entered a costume contest and got beat by a dude who dressed up as an old Lil Wayne. Wack LOL! We still look good!

Donald as a snowboarder.
He came to the party as an old man. LOL
Lady Gaga and Napolean Dynamite.

Will was a pastor, he came with a bible and all too! LOL!

Kris came as Thelma from Good Times, cute!

Fun times!

Hope you guys continue to have a great weekend!

Celebs get in the Halloween Spirit

Hey guys! It's not Halloween (yet) but that didn't stop a few celebrities from showing us their Halloween spirit! If you don't have a costume yet check these out!

Janet Jackson looked super cute as a gangster at the Lanvin Halloween celebration party.

Meredith Vieira from NBC's Today show dressed up as Lady Gaga. I like this!

Ciara dressed up as Storm from X-Men. She attended another birthday celebration at Club Haze in Vegas. I love it!

Lil Kim was a Kitty.. I guess..

La La also attended Ciara's birthday party in Vegas. She came as a sailor, cute but I feel like this isn't original lol.

Rocsi from 106 & Park dressed up as an Avatar on Friday's episode. LOL she did good with this one. Terrance dressed up as Rev Run.

Who do you think had the best costume?

Rocsi looks hilarious LOL! Janet was a beautiful gangster, Ciara reminded us to lay off the carbs in that leather cat suit, Meredith did Lady Gaga in a chic way, and La La managed to pull of the sailor look in a cute way too!
