These three fellas all look handsome in their own ways. English rapper Tinie Tempah was the center of attention at GQ's party, rocking a red suit, Christian Louboutin black Tasselissimo leather loafers, and Tom Ford glasses.  Ricky Whittle from "Single Ladies" looked foine at the 30 Years of Fashion and Film: The Next Generation of Style Icons party thrown by W Magazine and Guess in West Hollywood. Actor Anthony Mackie looked handsome in his three-piece suit at the Gangster Squad LA premiere.

Rocsi Diaz, Solange Knowles and Nicki Minaj all looked colorful and bold at their events. Rocsi rocked a Rebecca Minkoff Abby Dress, I want! Solange rocked bold prints from Just Cavalli’s Pre-Fall 2013 collection and Bottega Veneta sandals at the HBO Girls premiere. Nicki wore a figure hugging Hervé Léger dress. Work!
 

Taylor Swift and her deep plunge Ralph Lauren gown look gorge! Does Jada Pinkett-Smith age? What is her potion???  Jaime King wore a black Jason Wu gown at the 2013 Critics' Choice Awards. Lovely Ladies!

New music: Solange "Lovers in the Parking Lot"

Solange is on a roll with her new music. I LOVE this chic!!!! Everything about her screams "I'm doing me and loving it!" Such an inspiration. She may not be a huge name on the mainstream music scene, but this girl definitely deserves the underground music award. I love Solange as an indie artist because she has a certain unique-ness about her, from her impeccable and old-school fashion sense, to her eclectic music style. She has reinvented herself as a strong woman, mother, and style icon...but it's all in her own right. While other artists are pushing the envelope way to the left to remain relevant, she keeps true to herself and in a league of her own. YES!

New Music: Solange "Losing You"

Is Solange back on the music scene? Looks like it! The DJ/songstress released her new song "Losing You" which boasts funky, but catchy beats and whimsical lyrics. I really like it...I would probably need to hear it more than once to fully grasp its entirety. The video is true Solange: vintage inspiration. From the looks if it, the setting take place in a dusty, dirt road under-developed area but is contrasted with background dancers and random on-lookers dressed in the year's hottest trends: slim-fitting suits and prints galore! I love how she highlights menswear in this video! She shows that woman can still rock the men-inspired look and still embrace their femininity! Solange herself makes several appearances wearing various bold prints, colors, and her signiture afro. I like that this girl doesn't steer away from true inspirations and it works for her. I wouldn't mind seeing her re-invent herself into perhaps another style or look...maybe!

Solange Pretty in Pink at Screening of "Everything or Nothing"

Hey folks! The always beautiful and eclectic Solange was spotted at the screening of "Everything or Nothing: The Untold Story of 007" wearing this Twenty8Twelve geometric-cut Felicty shorts and Alexon jacket suit with black and white checkered turtleneck to add some flair. She finished off her retro-mod look with Nicholas Kirkwood printed slingbacks and a Charlotte Olympia Pandora Perspex clutch. She kept her signature afro and added a red lip for an added dose of color.

 

 

 

What do we think? 

Hmmm...well, I do like the shorts suit! Besides this bubblegum color, the origami cuts are really what make this suit stand out. I described it as "retro-mod" because I'm definitely feeling old school 70s from the boxy fit of it and modern from the geometric shapes and cuts. The checkered turtleneck is what's throwing me off...but It's Solange, so you already know she's going to throw in unexpected pieces to liven up any outfit! The shoes I'm drooling over. The Charlotte Olympia clutch is super cool..but I'm not feeling it with this outfit....it really has nothing to do with the outfits, colors, or theme. If you look closely, the outside of the clutch is made of clear plastic, but the fabric clutch is placed inside...how neat! More fashion innovation!

Overall, I give Solange a B-...she rocked this look in her own way and is confident as hell for her imaginative pairings. Gotta love that!

Celebrity Style: Solange's Miu Miu Mismatch Prints

The always and ever-changing fashionista, Solange Knowles, is my new muse...and she's at it full force!! The girl always looks so fantabulously chic and I love how she constantly mixes her prints...it 's becoming her signature look! She rocks it so effortlessly and always puts her own vintage twist on it with her changing hairstyles and accessories. She has truly grown into her own and she is doing just that: owning it!

She was spotted DJ'ing at the new Miu Miu store opening in Houston, TX, (her hometown) and she was wearing this adorable Miu Miu printed silk-faille mini Resort 2012 dress and check bow-detail slingbacks, straight from the runways. I LOVE IT!

Miss Solange stepped out for the Runway to Win party in a spring 2012 blue printed Vera Wang dress with leg-grazing open slit and blue suede Giuseppe Zanotti ankle strap pumps. She killed this whole look from the bold orange lip to the matching blue shoes...get it Solo!! I love how she mixed her own  vintage, shabby-chic style with her signature afro. Solange is a true trend-setter because she's comfortable in her own skin and will wear whatever the hell she wants! LOVE IT

Solange looks ammmmmmmmazing in this all white pearl embellished Alessandra Rich gown she wore to the 2011 Angel Ball last night. And I will have to bow down to Mama Tina because she looks fierce!!

Side note.. what kind of weave is that in Solange's hair..lol I am loving it! She looks good, makeup accessories and all!!
