Made in the USA: The Return of American Classics

When you think of fashion, typically you would think of runway shows in Paris and fashion houses in Milan. But over the decades, Americans have been known for clothing that never goes out of style. In the American Prep style you see more basic shapes, vintage silhouettes inspired from the 40s, 50s and 60s, cardigans, wayfarers, shift dresses, skinny ties, rolled up pant hems. These are all American classics.  Americans buying American goods has been the recurring theme since the downturn of the economy, so why not start with your own closets.
