Cocktail Spotlight

Courvoisier, one of the world's leading Cognac brands, recently added Courvoisier Rose to it's collection. The spirit, identical in color to rosé wine, is a blend of cognac and premium French wine grapes. The flavor profile features notes of blackberry, black currant and a touch of cherry, complemented by vanilla, honey and vine-peach flavors. YUM!

Because the original Courvoisier is 40% alcohol and Rose is only 18%, it is recommended that consumers drink the spirit alone, rather than blending with juices and mixers.

However, there are always exceptions to the rule! Being the bartender that  I am, I personalized my Courvoisier Rose, which  has a slight fruity taste and is complimented well with apple juice. I call this:

The Courvoisy Rose Fizzle:

Ingredients:
2 oz Courvoisier Rose
1/2 oz Apple Juice
1/2 oz Ginger Ale
Apple slice
Ice
Rocks glass

Recipe:
Pour Courvoisier Rose over ice into rocks glass
Add Apple Juice and Ginger Ale
Garnish with apple slice

I made this drink and it is SOOOOOO good!
